The first All-Neighborhoods Forum of the season is coming up this Wednesday evening, 6 p.m. at Vashon High School, 3035 Cass Avenue.   The Forums are held on an occasional basis when some issue spans across multiple neighborhoods.  Often our topics will be controversial, and certainly opinions about the proposed NorthSide Regeneration project are varied.

They offer the Forums for two reasons: (a) so that neighbors can learn about the project from its source, developer Paul McKee, who will show a PowerPoint presentation and talk about his vision, and (b) so that neighborhood folks can ask questions that we hope will lead to better civic outcomes.

The procedure will be a presentation after a very brief introduction from SLACO, followed by about a question and answer session of about half an hour.   SLACO volunteers will be collecting questions that the audience writes on index cards, and a moderator will be selecting and asking the questions of the speaker.

The auditorium will be cleared by 8 p.m.   Please forward this information to people who may be interested.  The program is free and open to the public.
