The Macy’s Festival of Lights officially kicks off the season at the May Amphitheater in Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis. The show includes lots of entertainment for families this year. See the complete list of performers and event details below. In addition to the traditional festivities, this year they’re featuring the first ever American Patriot Beer Company After Party and we have invited some of the St. Louis’ best food trucks to join in for the celebration.
The tree lighting takes place at 6:25 p.m., followed by a stunning fireworks display.

Summary of event:
Starting at 4:00p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, the Macy’s Holiday Festival of Lights officially kicks off the season at the May Amphitheater in Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis. The event will start with a Christmas Village and Food Truck Vendors. The show includes lots of entertainment for families this year. The family fun will include the Moscow Ballet Nutcracker St. Louis Dancers, Salvation Army Brass Ensemble, Grand Center Arts Academy Show Choir, the St. Louis Christmas Carols Association, Muny Kids, Show-Me Sound and Rivertown Sound Quartet and a special appearance by Santa Claus. Coloring Contest winners announced at the event. Designed by Mary Engelbreit, Honorary Grand Marshal for the Ameren Missouri Thanksgiving Day Parade. The tree lighting takes place at approximately 6:25p.m. followed by a stunning fireworks display.
In addition, the Show-Me Sound marches down a luminaire walkway on 7th street to Washington Avenue for more entertainment and holiday treats at the MX District for the family.
American Patriot Beer After Party
Beginning at 7:00 p.m. the fun continues for the adults. Enjoy more music entertainment at the American Patriot Beer After Party! Trolley rides will be available to Washington Avenue from Keiner Plaza.
