Congrats on my sellers on the successful sale of their childhood home in Webster Groves this week. The lot the house sits upon was originally part of an orchard farm that was purchased and spilt up into 3 lots by architect Charles Jost who built on house on each with one being his one. Jim McDonald (my clients’ father) purchased the lot in 1954 and worked with the Jost to create a stunning example of Modernist architecture. One of my favorite aspects of this home is the stunning view not only of the rear of the house but the view from the oversized rear windows of professionally landscaped backyard.
